Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Call Center Agent to join our team. As the key point of contact between The Engine Room and clients, you will promote products and services, build long-term customer relationships, and convert leads into sales. Successful candidates will provide personalized services to customers and create lasting relationships based on trust and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed sales targets
- Sell Value-Added Products such as Service, Warranty, Maintenance, Bodyline Maintenance, Shortfall, etc.
- Conduct needs analysis to understand customer requirements and provide suitable solutions
- Ensure a minimum of 4 hours of talk time and 7 hours of overall productivity per day
- Provide accurate and objective information to help customers make informed decisions
- Capitalize on upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Maintain a 90% or higher QA score
- Build long-lasting relationships with customers based on trust and integrity
- Adhere to quality standards, sales scripts, and compliance obligations
- Keep up-to-date with product changes, market trends, and legislative requirements
Requirements
- Matric
- Fit and Proper Requirements (including RE qualification and FAIS credits)
- NQF Level 4 Short Term Insurance (preferred)
- Fluent in English
- Minimum of 12 months of telesales experience
- Insurance background (preferred)
- Experience in service and maintenance sales (advantageous)
- Knowledge of credit protection plans and credit shortfall (advantageous)
