Clerk Despatch – Outeniqua

Job Purpose

To manage the despatch process, including handover from production, printing of documentation, invoicing, and various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handover from production to despatch
  • Capture all dispatch administration data
  • Process and capture picking slips
  • Process and capture invoices
  • Update DRM system
  • Assist with stock reconciliation
  • Handle customer complaints
  • Ensure compliance with Food Safety & Health and Safety requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 with numerical ability and PC literacy (Essential)
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar position in the bakery or FMCG industry

Other Requirements

  • Ability to work in a pressurized environment
  • Ability to work shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays
  • Willingness to work overtime when required

Key Skills

  • Strong organisational understanding
  • Familiarity with in-house systems (DRM, GP10, GP2015)
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
