Job Purpose
To manage the despatch process, including handover from production, printing of documentation, invoicing, and various administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Handover from production to despatch
- Capture all dispatch administration data
- Process and capture picking slips
- Process and capture invoices
- Update DRM system
- Assist with stock reconciliation
- Handle customer complaints
- Ensure compliance with Food Safety & Health and Safety requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 with numerical ability and PC literacy (Essential)
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar position in the bakery or FMCG industry
Other Requirements
- Ability to work in a pressurized environment
- Ability to work shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays
- Willingness to work overtime when required
Key Skills
- Strong organisational understanding
- Familiarity with in-house systems (DRM, GP10, GP2015)
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Attention to detail and accuracy
