Job Description
Alert Engine Parts is looking for a COD Clerk to join the Brackenfell team. This role focuses on collecting and managing debts from company customers.
Key Responsibilities

Receive cash, card, and EFT payments from drivers
-
Reconcile payments and credit documents for COD transactions
-
Liaise with RFC clerks to ensure timely receipt of credit notes
-
Process COD refunds with authorized, signed documentation
-
Balance shift takings against invoices and credit notes
-
Securely drop cash at the end of each shift
-
Maintain COD office security controls
-
File documents and handle other ad hoc office tasks
-
Assist with other duties as required by management
Qualifications and Experience

Matric (Grade 12)
-
Good numerical skills
-
3 years’ COD experience
-
Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook)
-
Clear ITC and criminal record
Skills and Personal Attributes

Organised, accurate, and honest

Independent and team player
-
Able to handle large amounts of cash

Quick learner with attention to discrepancies

Trustworthy and reliable

Strong time management and ability to work under pressure
