Job Purpose
The Credit Administrator will monitor and control debtors' accounts to ensure payments comply with the Group's credit policy and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Allocate and check payments accurately to maintain up-to-date debtor accounts.
Monitor overdue accounts and ensure timely payments from customers, including borderaux clients.
Ensure debtors adhere to approved credit terms and limits.
Address and resolve account queries before month-end.
Assist in financial year-end processes and audits by providing accurate information.
Support the business by resolving account-related queries promptly.
Communicate relevant financial information to stakeholders for effective decision-making.
Requirements
Qualifications
Grade 12 certificate.
Diploma in Credit Management (or equivalent).
Knowledge & Skills
Understanding of the Credit Act and basic accounting principles.
Proficiency in SAP and MS Office.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and business writing skills.
Ability to handle queries with diplomacy and tact.
Experience
3 to 5 years of experience as a Credit Controller.
