Job Purpose

The Credit Administrator will monitor and control debtors' accounts to ensure payments comply with the Group's credit policy and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Allocate and check payments accurately to maintain up-to-date debtor accounts.

  • Monitor overdue accounts and ensure timely payments from customers, including borderaux clients.

  • Ensure debtors adhere to approved credit terms and limits.

  • Address and resolve account queries before month-end.

  • Assist in financial year-end processes and audits by providing accurate information.

  • Support the business by resolving account-related queries promptly.

  • Communicate relevant financial information to stakeholders for effective decision-making.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 certificate.

  • Diploma in Credit Management (or equivalent).

Knowledge & Skills

  • Understanding of the Credit Act and basic accounting principles.

  • Proficiency in SAP and MS Office.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and business writing skills.

  • Ability to handle queries with diplomacy and tact.

Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a Credit Controller.
