About the Role:

An exciting opportunity is available at Hollard Insure within the Specialist Claims Services team. We are looking for a Data Verifier on a Fixed Term Contract to ensure that sufficient information is sourced for correct claim allocation and provide world-class customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Establish and review the merits of claims.
Acknowledge receipt of claims to brokers/clients.
Determine whether a third party or recovery is involved, and segment accordingly (Recovery / Liability).
Identify feasible recovery matters for handover to the recovery area and assess non-feasible matters.
Ensure the correct information is sourced according to liability management rules.
Check if all required information is on file (quantum, merits, claim form, etc.).
Utilize external resources to obtain critical information.
Complete system notes accurately (detailed and comprehensive).
Identify and recommend improvements in processes.
Track the use of time, resources, money, and equipment appropriately.
Collaborate with team members for innovation and constructive team dynamics.
Align behavior with the organization's culture and values.
Actively participate in professional development and career progression.
Manage expectations of brokers/clients.
Provide value-added broker service and improve service delivery.
Build positive customer relationships and resolve or escalate customer issues.
Gather customer satisfaction feedback and report to the relevant party.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

Minimum: 1-2 years of experience in office administration.
Desirable: Call Centre experience.

Educational Requirements:

Essential: Matric or equivalent.
Advantageous: Legal/Para Legal Degree or Diploma.
