Job Purpose
To provide excellent customer service in-store, ensure proper merchandising of stock, maintain cleanliness and safety, and support the store’s daily operations.
Minimum Requirements
-
Grade 10 (NQF 3) with 1 year of work experience OR
-
Grade 12 without work experience
-
Fluent in English and the dominant local language
-
Valid South African ID or work permit
-
Basic numerical skills
-
Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Ability to work under pressure
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service

Assist customers in selecting the correct products
-
Resolve customer queries and complaints
Merchandising & Stock Handling
-
Arrange stock in designated areas as per store layout
-
Ensure correct shelf price labelling
-
Keep aisles clear and safe for customers
Housekeeping
-
Maintain clean and organized shelves, stock areas, and facilities
-
Complete checklists for canteen, toilets, and shower areas
Safety & Compliance (OHSA)
-
Wear safety gear and ensure a safe shopping environment
-
Report any hazards to the Store Manager
Stock Loss Prevention
-
Report damaged or faulty stock
-
Maintain accurate records and avoid unnecessary losses
