Job Purpose

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced General Worker at the Johannesburg X-Dock Warehouse in Longmeadow. The role involves general housekeeping, assisting with loading and offloading vehicles, and ensuring the environment is maintained.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Grade 12 / National Certificate (NQF Level 4)

• Health: Medically fit

• Skills & Attributes:

  • Reliable and self-motivated

  • Ability to work in a safe manner and adhere to all safety requirements

  • Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery used for cleaning

  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Good organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks without supervision

  • Must be prepared to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

  • Must have own reliable transport

  • Clean criminal record
