Introduction

Position Breakdown

1. Gift Wrapping Assistant

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert gift wrapping using different styles and materials.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing gift-wrapping area.

  • Assist customers in choosing the best wrapping and packaging options.

  • Ensure all wrapped gifts meet company presentation and quality standards.

  • Deliver friendly, professional customer service.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF (advantageous).

  • Creativity and attention to detail.

  • Customer-facing retail experience (advantageous).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


2. Till Operator

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, balance, and sign off on the float at the start of the shift.

  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently.

  • Keep the till area clean and organized.

  • Balance the float at shift end and report discrepancies.

  • Ensure compliance with cash handling policies.

  • Provide friendly and efficient checkout service.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF (advantageous).

  • Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).

  • Retail till experience (advantageous).

  • Attention to detail and accurate cash handling skills.


3. Sales Assistant

Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with product selection and offer information on promotions.

  • Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and visually appealing.

  • Restock shelves and maintain proper product displays.

  • Support visual merchandising standards.

  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism.

  • Help the team achieve sales targets.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF (advantageous).

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Basic understanding of products and store offerings.

  • Retail experience (advantageous).
