Job Description
Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is offering an exciting In-Service Quality Assurance opportunity in the Manufacturing Department. The trainee will report directly to the Quality Assurance Manager and assist in quality testing, compiling reports, and ensuring compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality tests on products and packaging.
- Compile reports and communicate non-compliance.
- Maintain quality standards to minimize costs.
- Keep records for audit purposes.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12 with Mathematics & Physical Science (minimum 40%) – NOT Mathematical Literacy.
- Two South African languages passed with 40%.
- Studying towards Microbiology, Biotechnology, Food Technology, or a related qualification.
- Must have completed theoretical modules and need practical exposure.
- Must not have completed an In-Service Training programme at another company.
Other Requirements
- South African Citizen.
- Employment Equity candidate.
- Unemployed at the time of appointment.
- Between 18-35 years old.
- Institutional letter confirming work experience requirement.
Skills & Attributes
- Understanding of Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physics, and Mathematics in the food industry.
- Ability to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world problems.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for quality control and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and competitive environment.
