Job Description:

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Junior CSC Consultant to join our team at Barloworld's Isando Head Office. This role focuses on generating revenue through consultative sales, developing strong customer relationships, and supporting outbound marketing campaigns. The Junior CSC Consultant will also work closely with internal stakeholders and use their technical knowledge to promote and support Barloworld’s products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Customer Engagement:

    • Proactively contact customers via telephone, email, and other channels to generate revenue.
    • Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert them into sales.
    • Overcome customer objections and provide solutions to meet their needs.
    • Maintain a positive customer experience and consistently live the brand over the phone.
    • Achieve or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
    • Lead identification, qualification, and closure to secure sales.
    • Cross-sell and upsell Barloworld’s products and services.
  • Consultative Selling & Relationship Building:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
    • Support internal teams and marketing campaigns focused on specific solutions and services.
    • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
    • Work with technical support where necessary, but develop the ability to work independently over time.
  • Documentation & Reporting:

    • Document, track, monitor, and update all leads and activities in CRM tool.
    • Execute technical services, including connecting machines to Vision Link.
    • Monitor and ensure delivery of promises made to customers.
  • Product Knowledge & Promotion:

    • Understand and promote Barloworld’s full range of products, including parts, services, merchandising programs, maintenance plans, and technology solutions.

Qualifications, Experience, and Competencies:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • National Diploma or equivalent qualification.

Minimum Experience:

  • Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: English, Portuguese, or Mandarin.
  • Proven success in telesales, prospecting, and developing new business opportunities.
  • Experience in customer service, technical sales, or related fields.
  • Experience in conflict resolution and resolving customer queries.
  • Mechanical interest and/or experience is advantageous.
  • Previous functional area experience (machine sales, parts sales, service, etc.) is a plus.
  • Advanced MS Office skills and experience with CRM and ERP systems.
