Job Description
Successful candidates will enroll in a 4-month external Unemployed Cadet Program that combines practical on-the-job training with core skills development at Mogalakwena Complex.
This program aims to equip you with essential skills and set you on a path to a brighter future in mining.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 with Mathematics or Mathematics Literacy and English (40% or above)
- Medically fit and able to work on surface
- Willing to work shifts according to area schedules
- South African Citizen
- Pass relevant psychometric assessments
- Pass K53 Simulator Assessment
- Good communication skills in English
- Driver’s license (advantageous)
- Certified copies of qualifications, ID, proof of residence, and driver’s license (if applicable) are required.
Additional Cadetship Conditions
- Work in an opencast, dusty area
- Follow work schedules and shift patterns
- Obtain a medical certificate of fitness
- Adhere to safety and behavioural policies
