Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Parts Liaison Officer to join our team in Rustenburg. This role involves managing the parts ordering process, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing exceptional customer service. The Parts Liaison Officer will be responsible for various administrative and service tasks, focusing on ensuring that parts are ordered and delivered accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Parts Ordering & Planning:

  • Order parts through CRM and ensure proper planning and release of orders.
  • Manage and monitor open sales orders to customers, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Use SAP & CRM to manage orders, track inventory, and update customer information.
  • Ensure the accurate selection of order reasons when ordering parts from suppliers, considering priorities and cut-off times.

• Customer Support & Communication:

  • Provide feedback to customers on the status of backorders and any updates.
  • Assist customers in identifying the correct parts using SIS 2.0.
  • Log CID tickets with CAT to help improve lead times to customers.
  • Resolve service queries promptly and keep customers informed.

• Inventory Management:

  • Determine availability of parts from JDC, regions, and overseas suppliers to ensure accurate OTIF (On Time In Full) dates when releasing parts.
  • Action workflow messages immediately upon receipt and reorder parts as required.

• Compliance & Safety:

  • Adhere to all safety and security rules and policies in the workplace.

Qualification, Experience, and Competencies:

• Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 (Matric).

• Experience & Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in SAP and CRM systems (Must Have).
  • Previous experience in parts management or related fields is an advantage.

• Skills & Attributes:

• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Resilience and ability to persevere in challenging situations.
• Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
