Job Description
As a Pastry Chef, you will:

Follow recipes to create pastries, cookies, and other baked goods.

Develop new and unique dessert recipes for the menu.

Manage and monitor the kitchen’s pastry inventory.
Minimum Requirements

Matric.
-
Culinary Arts Diploma or similar qualification.
-
Previous experience as a Pastry Chef in a 4/5-star hotel.

Pastry qualification is advantageous.
-
Previous restaurant experience is advantageous.
-
A’la Carte and Banqueting experience is essential.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Excellent customer service and active listening skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication skills with staff and guests.

Honest, trustworthy, and reliable.

High attention to detail.
