About the Role

Tsebo Cleaning and Hygiene Solutions is looking for an experienced Receptionist for a 5-month fixed-term contract in Cape Town. The role involves managing the front desk, handling inquiries, answering calls, scheduling appointments, and providing administrative support.


Key Responsibilities

  • Receiving and transferring calls

  • Booking boardrooms and ensuring cleanliness before and after meetings

  • Overseeing office cleanliness and managing cleaning staff

  • Enrolling visitors and staff into the system as needed

  • Assisting with meeting room bookings and facilitation

  • Managing office stock, including detergents and cleaning supplies

  • Reporting incidents, queries, and occurrences to the Line Manager

  • Safekeeping of company assets (e.g., laptops, office equipment)

  • Monitoring and replenishing tea and coffee stock


Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong customer service and organizational skills

  • Time management and multitasking abilities

  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues efficiently

  • Professional phone etiquette and active listening skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)


Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric) – Essential

  • Three to five years’ experience as a Receptionist

  • Experience managing a switchboard

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook

  • General health and safety knowledge (advantageous)

  • Business Administration Diploma/Certificate (advantageous)

  • MS Office Certification (advantageous)
