Purpose of the Job

RCL Foods is seeking a SHER System Administrator to join their Milling Division in Pretoria West. The role focuses on implementing SHE systems to reduce occupational health, safety, and environmental risks.

Minimum Requirements

• SAMTRAC Certification

• ISO 45001 Certificate

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role within an FMCG environment

Key Responsibilities

• Compile SHER reports with data and statistics as required

• Assist in implementing ISO 45001 and ISO 14001

• Support Safety Officers with daily ISO system tasks

• Review and audit procedures and systems

• Create and track Gap Lists after audits

• Participate in audits and inspections

• Develop and maintain SHER policies, processes, and procedures

• Plan and schedule SHER training and update training matrix

• Compile safety files when needed

• Track non-conformances from SHER audits

• Ensure compliance with OHS Act, NEMA, and related laws

• Conduct safety communication (toolbox talks, safety alerts)

• Monitor incident reports and analyse near-miss trends

• Support management with HIRA compilations

• Maintain SHEQ-X records
