Purpose of the Position:
Eduvos is seeking a Student Affairs Advisor to develop and maintain strong student relationships and provide support from enrolment to graduation. This role contributes to student retention and a positive overall student experience.
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
- B-degree in Social Work, Education, Educational Psychology, or Communication.
- Honours degree will be an advantage.
Experience:
- Two years of customer service experience, preferably as a student advisor in a higher education or professional development environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the enrolment and onboarding process.
- Manage the transition from new business to student engagement.
- Support students with induction, orientation, and system access.
- Handle contract management and student/sponsor queries.
- Act as the first point of contact for assigned students.
- Resolve student issues and queries (first-level resolution).
- Conduct scheduled student check-ins and engagements.
- Oversee student representation, including SRC and class representatives.
- Facilitate student elections and on-campus activities, clubs, and events.
- Implement operational plans and budgets for student affairs.
- Manage incident reports and safeguarding responses.
- Promote student wellness through awareness and referrals.
