Job Description
The Team Leader, Cash (Level 1) oversees cash-related operations, including managing cash consultants and ATMs at designated Points of Representation (PORs). This role requires strict adherence to client experience standards, product knowledge, and banking procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage cash activities, ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and risk controls
  • Supervise cash personnel, maintain ATM functionality, and perform audits
  • Provide strategic guidance on cash operations, collaborating with internal teams
  • Keep up to date with regulatory changes and report performance to senior management
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and ensure security

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Qualification:

  • National Certificate in Banking (NQF5 FAIS aligned or higher)

Experience Required:

  • 3–4 years branch banking experience, including teller operations and frontline support
  • Expertise in bulk cash handling, ATM operations, and cash management procedures
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
  • Commitment to accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance
