Job Purpose
Unilever is hiring a Trade Executive to execute customer engagement strategies and achieve business growth targets in the Free State region. The role focuses on building relationships with trade partners, wholesalers, and distributors to increase product turnover, reach, and penetration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets for turnover, volume, and customer penetration
  • Build and maintain relationships with trade partners and distributors
  • Develop and execute customer account plans
  • Drive eCommerce sales through online platforms
  • Use data-driven insights to improve sales performance
  • Ensure timely processing of rebates and customer claims
  • Negotiate trade terms, shelf space, and promotions
  • Monitor stock rotation and minimize business waste
  • Collaborate with culinary teams for product training sessions
  • Track competitor activity and market trends

Minimum Requirements

  • Relevant Sales Qualification
  • 2-3 years of FMCG sales experience
  • Proven track record in sales (preferably in the Foodservice Industry)
  • Computer literacy
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willing to travel within the Free State region
