Job Overview

We are looking for a Traffic Administration Assistant to support operations teams with administrative, accounting, and file maintenance tasks related to traffic processes. This role involves working closely with the traffic team on document issuance, payments, and compliance.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepare payments based on input from operators.
  • Assist in document issuance for Letter of Credits (L/Cs), including drafts, insurance certificates, and Certificates of Origin.
  • Verify freight and storage invoices from freight providers and warehouse companies.
  • Check finalized digital contract files and prepare them for liquidation.
  • Perform various administrative tasks as required by operations.
  • Provide logistics-related administrative support and maintain clerical procedures.
  • Maintain filing systems and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Report any needed policy or procedural changes to improve operations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification

  • High attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Strong analytical and administrative skills
  • Fluency in English (corporate language)
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work under pressure
  • Proactive problem-solving skills
  • Team player with an independent and flexible work attitude

Work Experience

  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience, including trade finance experience (e.g., checking Letters of Credit in banks).
  • Commercial apprenticeship or internship experience is an advantage.
