Job Purpose
The Transport Clerk is responsible for assisting with all administrative duties related to internal and external deliveries. Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring delivery operations
- Handling customer and service provider queries
- Maintaining records
- Generating reports
- Assisting with deliveries (requires a valid EB driver’s license)
Qualifications
- Matric Certificate (Grade 12)
- Valid EB (Unrestricted) Driver’s License
Experience
- 2+ years of administrative experience
- Experience in fleet planning and administration
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Familiarity with tracking systems (e.g., Mixtelematics)
- Proficient in MS Excel and Office 365
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and resolve delivery-related queries with customers and service providers
- Reconcile invoices and maintain records
- Generate and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly delivery reports
- Assist with ad-hoc duties in the department
