Job Purpose

The Transport Clerk is responsible for assisting with all administrative duties related to internal and external deliveries. Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring delivery operations
  • Handling customer and service provider queries
  • Maintaining records
  • Generating reports
  • Assisting with deliveries (requires a valid EB driver’s license)

Qualifications

  • Matric Certificate (Grade 12)
  • Valid EB (Unrestricted) Driver’s License

Experience

  • 2+ years of administrative experience
  • Experience in fleet planning and administration

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Familiarity with tracking systems (e.g., Mixtelematics)
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Office 365

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and resolve delivery-related queries with customers and service providers
  • Reconcile invoices and maintain records
  • Generate and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly delivery reports
  • Assist with ad-hoc duties in the department
