Job Description:
FlySafair is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Content Creator to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing engaging video content that showcases our operations, customer service, employee experiences, and behind-the-scenes airline stories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify compelling stories related to FlySafair.
- Plan, script, and storyboard videos in line with brand messaging.
- Shoot and edit high-quality videos for digital platforms (YouTube, Instagram, etc.).
- Ensure timely production and delivery of weekly content.
- Operate video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and sound.
- Use video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
- Optimize videos for different platforms and manage content uploads.
- Collaborate with the marketing team and other departments.
- Monitor video performance and audience engagement.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements:
Education: Grade 12 (Matric) and a Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field (Essential).
Experience: Minimum 3 years in video production (shooting & editing).
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
- Knowledge of camera operation, lighting, and sound equipment.
- Understanding of video formats, codecs, and social media optimization.
Other Skills: - Strong storytelling and narrative development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- A creative and detail-oriented approach to video production.
- Flexibility to travel and work non-traditional hours when needed.
