Job Description:
Join the Hollywoodbets Purple Team and become part of one of South Africa’s most successful and growing brands in the gambling and casino industry. Hollywoodbets is expanding rapidly, and we are looking for three experienced VIP (Security) Officers to ensure a safe environment at our Verulam branch. As a VIP Officer, you will play a key role in securing premises and preventing loss and theft while maintaining excellent guest service and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Responsibilities:
Security Duties:
- Arrive 15 minutes before the branch opens and conduct perimeter patrols.
- Perform floor walks once the branch is open, ensuring everything is in order.
- Conduct thorough checks for suspicious activity before opening and closing.
- Be vigilant and alert to any irregularities, ensuring the safety of employees and guests.
- Position yourself away from the entrance during opening/closing and observe colleagues for potential danger.
- Patrolling should cover both inside and outside the branch, including back areas and parking lots.
- Ensure all security equipment, such as two-way radios and panic buttons, is in good working condition.
- Search all guests and team members using scanners and ensure compliance with security policies.
- Control the flow of foot traffic and vehicles entering and exiting the premises.
- Assist in the closing procedure by minimizing entry points for added security.
Guest Service:
- Serve as the first point of contact for guests, greeting them with a friendly and welcoming “Good day, welcome to Hollywood.”
- Provide exceptional customer service with a polite and helpful attitude.
- Proactively address guest complaints and ensure positive communication.
- Create a guest-centric culture and promote “service with a smile.”
- Wish guests a good evening when they leave and encourage them to return.
Compliance:
- Ensure you are dressed in full Amadoda uniforms with name badges before starting your shift.
- Perform mandatory checks on all persons entering the premises, including team members.
- Maintain a professional demeanor, refraining from casual conversations, use of cell phones, or eating while on duty.
- Enforce policies such as no bags, no weapons, and no persons under 18 allowed on the premises.
- Be vigilant and report any suspicious behavior or breaches of protocol.

- Maintain physical fitness to meet job demands.
