Admin Clerk / Receptionist

Must be willing to work shifts, weekends, overtime, and public holidays


Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or relevant NQF Level 4 qualification

  • BSc Degree (Advantageous)

  • 0–1 year relevant working experience

  • Computer literate

  • Knowledge of laboratory information systems and organisational policies


Key Responsibilities:

  • Log and distribute samples for timely lab processing

  • Handle customer queries and complaints professionally

  • Monitor sample delivery and ensure fast turnaround times

  • Perform hospital rounds to collect samples and deliver reports

  • Maintain accurate administrative records and cash handling

  • Track and replenish stock and materials as needed

  • Prepare and scan patient forms into system (Oculus)

  • Maintain cleanliness and uphold uniform protocols

  • Manage reception area and assist clients with information

  • Adhere to SOPs, customer care principles, and confidentiality protocols
