We are seeking a dedicated and organized Clerk to join our Groceries Division in Randfontein, reporting to the Raw Materials Co-ordinator.

This role is responsible for ensuring the effective intake and documentation of raw materials, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring adherence to SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality) policies.


Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric)

  • Knowledge of inward logistics and raw material handling

  • Experience operating a forklift (license advantageous)

  • Proficient in Syspro, SAP, and MS Office


Key Responsibilities

Stock & Logistics

  • Conduct daily stock counts on all bulk raw materials and by-products; report findings

  • Maintain and update the intake register for all incoming and outgoing loads

  • Process daily documentation for received loads and generate GRNs

  • Print and record all loading documents

Administration & Procurement

  • Process staff timesheets and submit for approval

  • Manage and submit leave workflows

  • Complete requisitions for intake requirements (e.g., stationery, tea/coffee)

  • Raise job cards and non-conformance reports as needed

  • Reorder PPE and other operational supplies in line with requirements

SHEQ & Compliance

  • Conduct regular toolbox talks and submit training registers

  • Perform monthly SHE inspections and close out audit findings

  • Implement, update, and communicate policy/procedural changes

  • Maintain inspection records and monitor equipment usage

  • Update noticeboards with policies and informational content
