Key Purpose
The Data Archiving Administrator will be responsible for managing O365 Mail, OneDrive, Project Server/Online, SharePoint Server/Online, and SQL/Online. This includes support, monitoring, troubleshooting, and documentation of standards, business requirements, operational guidelines, access controls, backup, and recovery.
Responsibilities

Maintain Archiving infrastructure and retention standards for business serviceability

Resolve incidents/requests within the specified SLA
-
Troubleshoot and resolve data recovery issues
-
Log and represent Change Management requests
-
Perform minor version upgrades of archiving software and hardware
-
Implement regular patch management and commission new archiving clients
-
Draft and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Archiving environment

Compile and manage license capacity reports

3 years of experience in an IT environment

2+ years of experience in Data Archiving support

2+ years of experience in Microsoft infrastructure support
Advantageous:

MCSA – SharePoint Administration knowledge

MCP O365/ Archiving certification

Microsoft 365 Certification
-
Experience with archiving tools (e.g., EV, Mimecast)

Strong understanding of Veritas Enterprise Vault
