About the Job

Midas is looking for a GRV Clerk to join their team in Vryburg. This role involves handling branch accounting and admin functions, supervising admin staff, and ensuring all assets are properly managed and accounted for.


Key Responsibilities

  • Reconcile creditors and suppliers in the ROW CDC

  • Enter data accurately into the ELCB system

  • Manage export freight supplier creditors and parts receipt account

  • Handle short/over-supply shipment queries

  • Process daily stock BT cancellations

  • Assist in managing quarantine stock

  • Perform various creditor-related admin duties


Minimum Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12)

  • Financial Degree or currently studying in finance (Essential)

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role

  • Extensive administrative experience in a branch or divisional network


Skills and Attributes

  • Strong understanding of a creditors ledger

  • Excellent reconciliation and organizational skills

  • Able to work under pressure

  • Experience with computerized ledgers

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

  • Trustworthy and able to handle large cash amounts

  • Willing to work in a team and independently

  • Clear ITC and criminal record

  • Good communication with admin staff across branches
