Job Purpose

The Process Artisan is responsible for overseeing the full production process in a manufacturing or industrial plant. The role includes monitoring equipment, ensuring quality and safety, and performing basic maintenance and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

Perform first-line fault finding
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Understand equipment functions and identify faults
Ensure quality assurance of the product
Perform tasks as assigned by the shift leader
Conduct plant inspections and record logs
Report unsafe conditions and behaviors
Collect samples as scheduled
Maintain high housekeeping standards
Follow all safety and legal requirements
Be available to work shifts and respond to plant needs, including on weekends if required

Requirements

Education:

Grade 12 with Maths, Physical Science, and English
NQF Level 4
Valid Driver's License (Code 8 or 10)

Experience:

At least 1 year of experience in a petrochemical environment
